new york
During 2018-2020, I studied at New York University’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. My time at the program and in New York gave me many opportunities to play for, write with, listen to, and be in the general presence of some pretty incredible people. I got to work on many pieces in development, and was looking forward to spending my year post-graduation there expanding my network, and continuing to play & music direct.
That of course, has been disrupted for now, but I intend to get back there as soon as possible to keep working in the truly incredible Broadway community. It’s sad that I’ve personally lost many opportunities that I had lined up both for my creations, and for myself, but that pales in comparison with the suffering that I was surrounded by until leaving. For now, I look back in fondness on my time there, and hope towards a brighter future, while keeping New Yorkers in my thoughts at all times.
